Quantity Surveyor Needed Urgently

Our client is a leading conglomerate with interest in investment/joint ventures with local companies and reputable multinationals. As a market leader it employs the services of professionals and specialists whose qualities are essential for building an even stronger organization. As a result, a qualified and competent QUANTITY SURVEYOR is required to fill the position of MANAGER (TECHNICAL SERVICES) in the Estate Technical Services Department of the conglomerate.

QUALIFICATIONS: A good degree or HND in Quantity Survey from a reputable institutionFull member of the Institution of Quantity Surveyors of Nigeria

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of costs and bidding documents for all maintenance and building projects.Preparation of Bill of Quantities.Assist in the development & implementation of the company's strategies for its technical unit.Preparation of valuation and payment certificates for all maintenance and building projects.Supervision of building projects and maintenance works.Assist the head of the unit in the management of the technical unit in line with organizational guidelines.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Must be proactive with sound technical, good team leadership and co-ordination skills.Must be honest and hard working.Must have comprehensive understanding of impact of functions of technical unit on the overall objectives of organizations.Must be computer literate.Must be between age 27 and 40 yearsRENUMERATION: Very attractive and rewarding.
