The Position: High Voltage Technician (Switchgear)
Under the supervision of the Foreman, this position is responsible for the maintenance/repair activities of generators, motors, programmable logical controllers, electrical drive systems, electrical/electronic control systems, on the terminal’s equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Receive and execute instructions and decisions from the Foreman.

• Ensure adherence to established safety practices in the execution
of assignments and in the use of tools, equipment and machinery.

• Provide technical expertise and a positive attitude to the functions
performed.

• Troubleshoot and effect repairs on High voltage electrical and
electronic circuits, digital drive and control systems and
programmable logic controllers.

• Service, repair, deploy, remove and stow away equipment as
required using safe driving techniques and safe parking
procedures.

• Perform other related functions required from time to time such as
assistance with major emergency work.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Comply with all disaster contingency cleanliness.

• Ensure adherence to established safety practices in the execution

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
• OND / HND (electricals)
• On-hand working experience of minimum 5 years with any
reputable company dealing with high voltage switchgears
(11kVonwards) / power transformers, power lay-outs etc.
• Should be familiar with HV Switchgears installation and repairs.
• Should have hands-on experience for HV cable laying/jointing
procedures.
• Should have knowledge of electrical safety standards in medium
and high voltage range.
• Should have knowledge of international electrical standards.

Overview
We are seeking a strong J2EE developer who can lead a small team on a challenging project. The goal of the project is to re-engineer a legacy toll collection system into a next generation Java architecture. The system will consist of a traditional n-tier web front-end as well as a high-performance distributed batch processing framework for background processing.

The lead developer is expected to participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle including design, prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment and production support. Beyond being a great technical candidate, the lead developer must also have strong interpersonal skills, capacity to lead junior developers and comfort in interacting with a variety of groups including business analysts, architects, system administrators, database administrators and quality assurance analysts. The lead developer will report to both the project manager and senior architect.

Clerk of Works

As a clerk of works, it would be your responsibility to oversee the quality and safety of work on our construction sites, and make sure building plans were followed correctly.

Your main duties would involve:
regular inspections of the work on site
measuring and sampling building materials to check their quality
identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them
liaising with other construction staff, such as contractors, engineers and surveyors
Monitoring and reporting progress to construction managers and clients.
You will also be responsible for supervising the workforce on the building site during a project and ensure that all standards are met.
Ideal candidates must have completed a Civil Engineering qualification (BSc/HND) or obtained relevant education within the building and construction industry. You should have at least 1 year of experience as a Site Inspector or Clerk of Works previously.

 Tests, inspects and maintains/secure all fire fighting equipment / fixed fire protection / fire trucks / rescue tools as per schedule and report any deficiencies for prompt attention.
 To safely refill and maintain all portable fire extinguishers and Self-contained breathing apparatus cylinders as per procedures/manual and work instruction.
 Assist to procure/provide fire fighting equipment for the protection of staff and property.
 Maintain and update all records for assets / maintenance / testing / inspection.
 To respond to any emergencies in IA, RA and community areas. Join the Emergency response teams in fire fighting in line with emergency response procedure.
 Maintain and make preparations for training on the fire training ground including provision of equipment.
 Participate / Assist in fire fighting training or drills for RA, IA & PHC.
 Assist in HSE induction and CSE training as and when required and maintain housekeeping of fire station in IA / RA and fire truck.
 To standby with fire truck & fighting equipment during helipad operation and respond to any eventualities accordingly.
 To carry out daily shift duty tasks or shutdown fire / safety equipment mobilization as per line requirement and to assist / facilitate in HSE walkabouts as and when required.

Qualifications required
 Candidate must not be more than 35 years of age.
 HND in Engineering or Physical Sciences with 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience and maintenance of fire fighting equipments.
 OR National Diploma in Engineering or Physical Sciences with 3 years mechanical maintenance experience and maintenance of fire fighting equipments.
 OR Intermediate certificate of Institution of Fire Engineers, UK with 5 years experience in fire fighting and maintenance of fire fighting equipments.
Valid drivers’ licence with minimum of 3 years relevant driving experience will be an advantage.

This is a 3rd Party Contract Staff Position.

Purpose
 Provide specific Microsoft Office Trainer to meet the needs of client;s production personnel in consultation with line Management and the Head of Technical Training.
 Develop and deliver quality training programmes in line with organizational requirements in order to progress production staff to agreed competence levels within their areas of operation


Responsibilities:
 Identify, develop and deliver high quality Microsoft Office /IT training packages to meet the business needs as approved by the line.
 Liaise with construction department/vendors to determine training needs with respect to new projects/technology.
 Develop and conduct cross location IT training where required. Liaise with Line and the line to ensure suitable cross training opportunities are fully utilized.
 Negotiate and arrange all aspects of third party vendor training and contract management, for all IT related training providers. (Includes identifying providers and conducting technical & financial evaluations).
 Carry out Course Directors role of coordinating all aspects of training delivered by vendor or consultant, including nominations, logistics and technical assistance to ensure training meets company standards and requirements.
 Evaluate training programmes provided by vendors & consultants and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
 Provides input to monthly/annual training reports to management.
 Take part in in-house and inter departmental Health Safety & Environmental audits.

Qualifications required
 A degree in numerical sciences with possession of Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
OR A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
 Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial/engineering environment preferably with a period spent in the petrochemical industry, and at least 3 years spent in a training role, possessing strong supervisory and coaching skills.
 Candidate must not be more than 35 years of age
 IT skills in MS Office software at advanced level years
 A flair for Training.
