Employing Company: International Operator

Summary of Role:
To plan and co-ordinate subsurface geology operations of exploration and develop wells, in co-operation with relevant professional figures of the Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Departments.To update the composite logs digital database of NAOC wells
To prepare well programmes including surface logging, wireline logging operations, coring and required tests.
To forecast targets depths in co-operations with senior geophysicists and possible drilling hazards (e.g. fault zones, top of high over-pressure.
To plan and supervise open hole tests (MDT, RFT or DST) and to decide on the depth interval for formation fluid and formation pressure sampling, to recommend levels to be perforated for production testing and completion.
To prepare composite logs, well correlation panels and geological cross-sections.
To organize and update the digital data base of NAOC composite logs using the FINDER and WINLOG

Employment Terms:
