THE PERSON
BSc (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent.
Membership in NSChE or other relevant professional body will be an advantage.

Evidence of ability to organize training courses and programmes is essential.

ENROLLMENT CONDITOINS
All selected trainees will receive a monthly up-keep allowance and they will be accommodated and fed throughout the duration of the program when they are in actual training.
Successful applicants will be admmited to commence training in year 2008 in Ogun State , Nigeria .
During the twelve (12) months training period, trainees, WILL NOT be employees of Chevron Nigeria Limited.

Main areas of responsibility:
Manage servers, including email, print and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSes.
Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.
Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice / data jacks, and other network-related equipment.

SHORT TERM TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT
The World Bank Country Office, Abuja , Nigeria requires a part time receptionist for a short term appointment of about 60 working days at the first instance.
RECEPTIONIST: LEVEL GA
The successful candidate will be required to provide professional reception and administrative support services to the organization. He/She will be required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruption without losing concentration or attention to detail. He/She must be able to deal with emergency situations in a calm, efficient and prompt manner; showing an excellent sense of initiative and discretion.
Duties and responsibilities: These include but are not limited to:
· Using a multi-line telephone, answering a high volume of telephone calls with courtesy, speed and accurately routing the calls.
· Receiving and screening visitors then directing them to their proper destination in a courteous and professional manner.
· Providing general information regarding the Bank and responding to routine inquiries or complaints from clients and members of the public in line with Bank’s policies and management direction; while referring non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to appropriate staff.
· Relaying messages accurately orally, manually and by electronic mail.
· Performing other office support functions, examples of which include receiving, sorting and ensuring distribution of incoming mail.
Critical Requirements:
· Excellent command of written and spoken English
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact tactfully with people of all levels.
· Demonstrable team spirit and strong desire to actively contribute to a Bank’s objectives.
· Excellent word and data processing skills (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.)
· Ability to pass relevant Bank Group test at time of recruitment (English language).
· Minimum of two years cognate experience.
· HND or First Degree obtained at not less than Good or Second Class (Lower) grades, respectively.
