This individual will work two assignments during his tenure in Mid-Africa Nigeria business unit. The first assignment will be to manage and coordinate Operational Excellence (OE), HES efforts, Contractor Performance Management, Well Construction OE Performance, Process Management, and Standard Operating Procedures and Contingency Plans. The successful candidate must have experience in a broad range of drilling engineering, planning, well construction technical competence & completions expertise. • Develops annual Drilling and Completions Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) plan to ensure incident free operations
• Coordinates and supervises Lekki Drilling and Completion HES efforts: Tabletop drills, Safety reviews, HES training and behavior based safety programs
• Manages contractor performance.
• Insures Well Construction Operational Excellence for HSE, Reliability and Efficiency
• Manages, maps and maintains all D&C process and organizational structure
• Develops and maintains standard operation procedures and contingency plans
Required Basic Qualifications:
• Well rounded in Drilling Engineering, planning, and well construction execution of operations.
• Works well with others in a mutli-functional diversity team environment.
• Good organizational and analytical skills. Holds self & others accountable for performance. Nurtures professional growth of self and others. Can facilitate the building of an OE culture (provides and seeks mentoring).
• Experience with Tabletop drills, Safety reviews, HES training and Behavior Based Safety programs
• Experience with incident investigation and reporting
• A minimum of 10 years field-oriented (directly related) experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering
• Although Bachelor degree is desirable, individuals with impressive credentials in all areas described in the overview may be considered in lieu of degree.
