Marketing executive/ Training Co-ordinator –Torque Academy

Position Description

Employment Status: Permanent

Working Hours:

8.a.m- 5 p.m ( Mon –Fri )



Purpose and objective of position:
The above position was created for the sole purpose of marketing the various Training Products and Consultancy Services offered by Torque Academy, which is a sub-unit of Torque Technologies. The Ultimate goal being to acquire new customers, service current customers as well as development of Customer retention strategies.


Essential duties:
1. Marketing of All training Products and Consultancy services.
2. Formulation of Marketing Plans and Strategies as well as the execution of same
3. Production of a weekly sales report and feedback on Weekly activities
4. Monitoring of market and reporting on noticeable competitive activities and customer trends.
5. Collection of customer data
6. Receiving of telephone requests and following-up to a logical conclusion
7. Liasing with training partners and facilitation of training events.
8. Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
9. Achieve Monthly Targets as set by Management


General Description:

Torque Technologies is an ICT solution provider with a focus on emerging Technologies and the delivery of cutting edge Solutions within the Telecomms/Projects, Training and Network Solutions arena.

This job will require minimal daily supervision as tasks will be reviewed and assigned on a weekly basis.
Direct area of Influence will be towards sustaining and developing the new business unit within the organization.



Responsibilities
• This position will have access to confidential and strategic information since the employee will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Hence strict confidentiality will be required from the employee.
• This positon will accept payments for goods and services sold to customers on behalf of the
organization.


Qualifications and work experience :
• This position requires a minimum of 3 years working experience in a sales oriented position especially with disposition toward the ICT arena
• Minimum of BSc qualification from a reputable higher institution .

Technical skills
• The employee must be computer literate and conversant with the Microsoft Office suite and other applications
• Clear oral Communication Skills
