Chevron needs Pshychologist for EAP Advisor!!!

Job Title: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Advisor
Job Description: ? Provide confidential crisis intervention, psychological assessment and brief, problem resolution and counseling to employees, retirees and family members.
? Provide initial assessment, decisions on appropriate treatment, utilization review, treatment review, return-to-work contracting, ongoing monitoring, and compliance with drug screening follow-up for employees identified with chemical dependency/alcohol problems.
? Provide disability management and support for employees with mental/nervous diagnosis.
? Provide consultations on employee performance problems, conflict resolution issues, team building issues, and other interpersonal or behavioral areas that impact on productivity and/or safety.
? Provide education on EAP, HIV drug and alcohol awareness and identification, stress and change management, work-life balance programs and resources.
? Provide consultation to rotational employees and their families to prepare them for assignment in Chevron locations outside of Nigeria and to expatriate employees working in Nigeria.
? Maintain local database of EAP activities and cases; prepare local reports and presentations on impact of EAP and work-life balance services on business operations; maintain security of confidential EAP files; etc.
? Provide direct support and education on peer counseling to internal medical staff; Consult with other medical staff and contribute to the development of peer counseling and assistance programs and resources that support positive
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Second Class Upper degree in Psychology and M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
Required Skills: ? Effective communications skills
? Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
? Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software

Experience Applicants must possess a minimum of ten (10) years post qualification experience in employee assistance program and counseling.
